At Handcraft with Soul, every personalised keepsake is handmade especially for you.
Use this guide to help you complete your personalisation details clearly when placing an order. The more information you provide, the easier it is for us to create a truly meaningful handmade piece.
Please check all spelling, dates and details carefully before placing your order, as personalised text will be made exactly as provided.

How to personalise your order

How do I place an order?

When placing an order, each product page will show the personalisation options available for that item.

You may be asked to provide details such as names, dates, hair colours, outfit colours, plaque text, birth details, pets, flowers or a message for the back of the frame.

Please enter all information exactly as you would like it to appear on your keepsake.

We recommend checking spelling, dates and punctuation carefully before completing your order.

For products with handmade figures, please describe the hair colour and hairstyle for each person.

If a colour chart is shown in the product gallery, please use it as a guide.

Example:

Bride – light blonde, waist-length wavy hair with a middle parting.
Groom – dark brown, short hair brushed to the right, with beard and moustache.

For family products, please describe each figure from left to right.

Example:

3 figures – blonde, brown, black.

For products with people or characters, please describe the outfit and colours for each person as clearly as possible.

Example:

Groom – black suit with a brown bow tie and black glasses.
Bride – long white wedding dress with short sleeves and a veil.

For family products, please describe each figure from left to right.

Example:

3 figures – blue, red, black/grey.

We will do our best to match your description in our handmade style.

Yes. All engraved details are sealed with clear epoxy resin, giving them a premium glossy finish and helping to protect the engraving over time.

Many of our products include a wooden plaque with engraved text.

Shorter text usually looks cleaner and more elegant, especially on small wooden plaques.

Some products offer an optional personalised message on the back of the frame for an additional charge.

This can be:

Wedding wishes
A dedication
A meaningful quote
A personal message
A prayer or blessing
A special message for parents, grandparents or loved ones

Example:

Wishing you a lifetime of love, happiness and beautiful memories together.

Please enter your message exactly as you would like it to appear.

For wedding frames and other floral products, you may be asked to describe the bouquet colour or the flowers decorating the frame.

Example:

Bouquet – white and blush pink flowers.
Frame decoration – green leaves and white flowers.

Flower shades and arrangements may vary slightly depending on availability, but we will always choose colours that match the style of your keepsake.

For birth keepsake products, please provide the baby’s details carefully.

You may be asked for:

Baby’s name
Child gender
Hair colour
Dress colour or outfit colour
Date of birth
Time of birth
Birth weight
Birth length
Personal message on the back of the frame

For angel frames, you may be asked to choose:

Angel hair colour
Child hair colour
Dress colour
Text on the plaque at the top of the frame
Heart with engraving
Additional notes for the order
Message on the back of the frame

If you choose a heart with engraving, please provide the name you would like engraved in the order notes.

For family tree products, please describe each figure clearly from left to right.

You may be asked for:

Hair colour for each figure
Outfit colour for each figure
Names for wooden hearts
Text on the front plaque
Additional notes for the order

Example:

Hair colours: 3 figures – blonde, brown, black.
Outfit colours: 3 figures – blue, red, black/grey.
Front plaque text: Our Family
Names for hearts: Grandma, Grandpa, Olivia.

This helps us understand the order of the figures and the colours you would like.

For wedding tree frames, please provide details for the bride, groom and any additional figures or pets.

You may be asked for:

Pet option
Hair colour and hairstyle
Outfit and outfit colour
Text on the wooden plaque on the tree
Message on the back of the frame
Bouquet colour
Flowers decorating the frame

Example:

Bride – light blonde, waist-length wavy hair with a middle parting.

Some products allow you to add a pet, such as a dog or cat.

Available options may include:

Please describe the pet briefly in the order notes.

Example:

We can personalise text in different languages.

Please enter the wording exactly as it should appear, including accents, special characters and punctuation.

We do not automatically translate or correct text, so please check everything carefully before placing your order.

If you would like something slightly different from the options shown on the product page, please contact us before ordering.

We will let you know if your request is possible and whether any extra cost applies.

Custom requests may include small changes to colours, wording, layout or decorative details.

All personalised products are handmade to order.

Small variations in colours, flowers, layout and details may occur. This is part of the handmade process and makes every keepsake unique.

Once we have started making your order, changes may not be possible.
